Design Context Format

Minamilist design within

- Layout
- Experimental Layout
- Mailshots

Each Section will have 5 different agencies or designer with each section
I will analyse each agency with the following:
1. Hiarcy
2. Colour
3. Typeface
4. Limitations
5. Concepts
6. Subtle consistency
7. Print process & production

This will involve me speaking to the agency's and printers

The form of the the 3 different sections will be what it is
Layout - book
Experimental Formats - poster
Direct Mail - mailshot to advertise the book and poster

This is where my interest strongly lie within and I will be happy creating this as it clearly shows who I am it is also something i can refer to when I finish university. I can also create contacts from this and ultimately will be something that I want to keep.

Design Context Presentation

Design Context presentation feedback.
How effective is minimalist design?

Feedback: The question related to work yet be careful it doesn't turn into a book of just what you like? Investigate in death into it. What do I want to get out of it?
Look into perhapes what people appreciate about simple sophisticated design do they appreciate it? Is it a matter of money to clients taking risks with simple design or it just making clarity between messages.

Make sure questions are highly appropriate for the interview with agencies makes sure you get a lot out of the questions
Organise chapters better
Be More precipice
Do you need to understand the history of minimalist design and how it has effected contemporary design?
Make sure images used are in context such as the elmwood h20 image for scottish water made no relevance to audience in presentation
